From Fattoria Madonna della Querce near Montepulciano, you’ll ride gentle horses through vineyards and olive groves with guide David or his family team. The one-hour outing suits beginners and children, with a visit to the farm animals and a possible farmhouse refreshment stop. Bring sunscreen, a hat, and your own ride to the farm.

“We had a wonderful experience. My sister is very nervous horseback riding, and they held her rope and walked her the entire few mile journey. We got to see all the farm animals after. They made sure we had plenty of water and were very kind upon our arrival. Even with the language barrier, we were treated very kindly. We decided to walk from Monteulciano because it was only a mile and a half away, but we learned that it is down very busy roses, not very safe for walking. Definitely need a ride to go!”
